1st half of December
It’s a Sunday today, which means some alone time with myself and my thoughts.
I was supposed to clean my bathroom today, but my left leg is hurting a bit because of the endless strolling my sister and I took at the mall yesterday.
The mall was packed with swarms of shoppers, children, and anyone who just wanted to cool down for the weekend. We only shopped for some Christmas gifts and watched Wicked, yet our quick mall getaway took an exhausting turn because of the crowd and the high of 13th-month pay shopping.

📚I finally received my first-ever Kobo! I’m thankful to my US client for the Amazon GCs because I finally saved enough for an e-reader that will replace my 4-year-old Kindle. It took me one whole afternoon to set up OverDrive; it’s a bit tricky since it’s not available here in the Philippines. Now, I can borrow books from a library in Australia!
🛍️I shopped for Christmas gifts for family and relatives at SM North last Tuesday. Sheesh, the mall was packed for a weekday 😰
📖Started reading Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle this month to accomplish my reading goal of 3 books this month.
Now, I’m gonna get back to my e-reader to read, and avoid phone brain rot!
